- 1 pound rainbow carrots
- 1 tablespoon salt
*Must use a non-iodized salt for fermentation to work.
1 Quart Jar
- Rinse and peel carrots. Cut carrots to fit under the shoulder of the jar.
- Fill the jar with water
- Add 1 Tablespoon of salt ( Important: all the carrots must stay submerged in the salt brine )
- Ferment at room temperature for 5 days. Then keep refrigerated as you enjoy.
